Rosemary left the YP Country Times in December 2009, after 22 years working as a journalist and editor with the local paper.

She and her family moved to Mannum for Rosemary to take up the Sports Editor position at The Murray Valley Standard in Murray Bridge, a job she thoroughly enjoyed, in a new environment working for a large public company, Fairfax.

But the lure of family, and the excitement of a career change, has seen Rosemary return to Kadina.

“It is a big thing to no longer be a journalist after nearly 25 years in media but the offer to work with the team at Professionals was an attractive one, which I see as an opportunity to learn new skills as well as use my existing communication skills,” Rosemary said.

“The team has been very welcoming, and it’s good to be back amongst friends and family.”

She said the sales staff and property management team at the Professionals Copper Coast offices in Kadina and Moonta are both kept very busy; such is the high demand for the services on offer.

Most recent sales reports for the area show The Professionals capturing 40 per cent of the local market*, and more than 200 rental properties on their books is testimony of the high local regard for the firm’s property management services.

Staff at The Professionals Copper Coast includes salespeople Neville Hibbard, Ryan Lamshed and Ian Adams, and office and property management staff comprise Chris Wall, Jesse Curnow, Jade Lambert-Blades, and Rosemary.

Ian Adams now operates from the Moonta office, after seven years at the recently closed Wallaroo office.

He has lived in Wallaroo since 1988 when he moved there to take up the position of bank manager at Bank SA.

He assures that despite his move to Moonta office, he remains accessible to both Wallaroo and Moonta clients alike.

“With my laptop and mobile phone I can meet clients anywhere on the Copper Coast, whether it’s at Kadina office, Moonta office, or at home at Wallaroo.”

The closure of The Professionals Wallaroo office and Ian’s move to Moonta office arose after the firm’s Moonta sales consultant, Liz Johnson, relocated to Western Australia last month.
